Project management in Sage X3 occupies a different position from manufacturing or trade. In many X3 deployments — particularly those focused on manufacturing — the project module is lightly used or not used at all.
How projects live in an X3 estate
X3's project capabilities vary significantly by deployment. The platform offers a project module with tasks, budgets and cost tracking, but its depth is materially less than X3's manufacturing or commercial document estate. Three patterns are common:
