Epicor Kinetic's ICE framework — business objects, BAQs, BPM directives, Epicor Functions and the REST/OData layer — is where a customer's real requirements live, and none of it converts mechanically to D365. Add a chart of accounts that can carry roughly twenty segments against D365's eleven, multi-book accounting with no exact counterpart, and a Method of Manufacturing that must be split into a separate BOM and Route, and the programme is dominated by triage rather than translation.
