Acumatica derives postings from accounts and subaccounts combined with branches, account and posting classes, customer and vendor classes, inventory posting classes, tax zones, project account groups, and account and subaccount masks. Tenant and branch boundaries are not interchangeable with D365 environment and legal-entity design, and deciding what a branch becomes is the least reversible call in the engagement. The customisation estate — customisation projects, DAC extensions, graph and graph-extension logic, generic inquiries, import/export scenarios and custom REST endpoints — has no direct portability to X++ and needs requirement recovery before disposition.
